Executive Director of the National Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA), Audley Gordon, is encouraging Jamaicans to follow the guidelines to protect themselves against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
He made the call in a public service video, noting that he believes the coronavirus would do less damage in Jamaica “if we were disciplined people”.
Gordon is urging persons to follow good hygiene and wear masks among among other precautionary measures.
